In order to remove the intake manifold do I have to take off all of the stuff attached to the intake manifold, or can I just take off the 8-10 bolts that are attaching the intake manifold to the head?

another situation I have is the 3 bolts on the bottom of the headers that attach the rest of the exhaust, one of the bolts rounded off...any way I can get a rounded bolt off in such a confined space?

If you want to take the intake manifold off to remove the head, you might be able to get away with just removing the nuts and pushing it back against the firewall. Not sure if there's enough room to do this though...

As for the rounded bolt / nut, you can try something like this: Craftsman 10 pc. Damaged Bolt/Nut Remover Set, Low Profile Bolt-Out - 52166 at Sears.com

Or, if you have enough room, cut the bolt / nut with an angle grinder.
