Removing H23 Engine!

I need to remove my H23A1 engine, was wondering if it would be possible to remove it alone and keep the tranny in there? I already have the cylinder head, intake and exhaust manifold off and its basically its the block thats in there attached to the transmission!

Can I just unbolt the engine from the transmission and pick it out? Fwiw its a manaul transmission. Also is there something else besides the engine mounts I need to disconnect to separate the two?

any and all help and tips appreciated,

Id just pull block and trans. You just have to drop the axles, unhook your clutch lines and remove the mount. Ive gotten to the point where I can pull my h22 in about three hours.

These engines are meant to be dropped out. In order to get it out of the top, you have to lift it up at an angle and slide it out very carefully. Also, it is easier to fully remove the engine mounts once you have the engine supported by other means.
