removing fusebox in engine bay

how do i do it? i need to get some wires in the cabin, and from what i hear the best hole is behind the fusebox. I removed the 10mm bolt but soemthing else is holding it down and i cant seem to find it. is there an easier place to put wires through?

I don't remember exactly, but there might be 2 bolts holding it down, check if you're forgetting another bolt. Then it's clipped onto a metal bracket on the firewall. You'll need to push the tab on the fuse box and pull straight up.

If my memory serves me correctly, there is just one silver bolt holding it on. It is very visible. AFter you take this bolt off, there is 2 tabs in the back clipping the Fuse Box in place, Either push the clips out or push them in, and then pull the box up and out. You won't be able to pull the box entirely out though because of all the wires.

Yeah, undo the bolt and then look for the clips. . .FYI: you gotta tug pretty hard to get it off!!
