Removing E-brake handle HELP!!!

Ok so im trying to remove the handle and replace it with a nifty carbon fiber one, but i cant figure out how to remove the factory one. I ripped out the center console and im still lost. If anyone has done this please give me some pointerz.....Oh yea while the console was out i mounted 4 toggle switches w/ a green l.e.d where the blank panels were, looks pretty good There going to be used for strobes inside, neons inside, and strobes outside and neons outside, Ill get some pix when im done.

You have to cut it my friend...get a sharp knife....split it down the middle and around the base ( there is a guideline u can follow) then slide it off...voila!

I did this with mine, used a dremel tool to get a nice cut. The universals usually don't fit ours I had to use one made specifically for an Accord

<----- will have to spend $60 to replace the handle because I realized that the maglite stick looks cheap and sticks out like a sore thumb in my otherwise clean interior.

btw I had to cut it to get it to fit.

No airbag. It makes fitting an aftermarket wheel alot easier.

the steering wheel is one of the only things that i'm glad i don't have from a jdm lude. it reminds me of my friend's 91 accord steering wheel.
