Ok i removed my Ws muffler to go drive around and its loud as hell and when i hit vtec it SCREAMS!! honesly though i like the way it sounds because my exhaust is so quiet and its different. just wandering if a N1 or unbolted muffler would be louder. i dont wanna buy the N1 muffler to weld onto my piping if its going to be louder than just an unbolted muffler.

it probably cant get any louder that what it is right now with an unbolted muffler, the n1 should probbaly be a little quieter

Hmm ok well can anyone confirm if the Ws and N1 piping is the same? I just remembered that i could get a silencer for the N1 so i guess its all good? would anyone wanna buy the Ws Muffler?

loud exhausts get old after awhile. they are fun for setting off car alarms and getting people to turn their heads, but get very annoying once you start commuting back and forth to work 40 miles a day.

yeah but you lose power and i don't think they sound nice with it in. besides i really like the low-mid range gain i seem to have gotten from the ws. getting stuck in a high gear isn't as bad anymore.

i do like the N1 though, just not on a commuter car.

I am guessing that the n1 with the silencer is probably about the same power loss as having a ws exhaust.
