Refreshing a 95 - Parking Brake Question?

HI all - Jeff from Michigan here.
I've been reading up and have to say thanks for all of the great info.
We found a nice 1995 Prelude for our son - it's his 1st car.
It's a Special Edition H23A with 105,000 miles.
It sat outside for almost a year and we have detailed the interior and exterior to the best it can be.
It runs and drives very good, but not knowing much history on the car we have upgraded many things.
Cap, rotor, wires, plugs, oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter, ect...
I installed new rotors, calipers and pads all the way around.
We havent driven the car yet, just bleeded the brakes a few days ago.
My question is...
The parking brake cables move freely and the arms move on the calipers.
The left parking brake works excellent, the right side does not, even though the lever moves as far or farther than the left side.
I have downloaded the PDF shop manual and it states >>>
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE: After rear brake caliper servicing, loosen the
parking brake adiusting nut, start the engine and
depress the brake pedal several times to set the selfadjusting
brake before adjusting the parking brake.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I havent done this procedure yet and I was wondering if this may be my problem or do you think that the remanufactered caliper I bought isnt working correctly?
As in - you've seen this before or just go drive the car and recheck it or?
Just looking for tips and wanted to HI.
We'll post some pics and let you see some before and after shots of our hard work.
This should be a wonderful car for him.
Thanks again - Jeff and Tyler.

If you move the ebrake lever on the caliper too far down when installing it (this is easy to do when attempting to attach the ebrake cable to it before it is bolted to the caliper bracket) then the caliper should be replaced if you want the ebrake to function properly on that wheel. The calipers you purchased should still be under warranty so get them to swap it out. Just tell them the ebrake lever is defective and they should have no problem replacing it.

Thank you JGB, I did have some issues with that side trying to get the pin and clip installed.
The calipers have a lifetime warranty, so it's not a problem getting a new one.
