Redoing interior panels with vinyl, leather, fabric, etc...

I have seen the cloth panels on our 4th gens in the doors and rear side panels redone many a times. What sorta fabrics has everyone used? I know people use leather and vinyl often. Has anyone tried using suede or other types of fabrics?... and what's the best product to use to hold the fabric and/or vinyl down in place? Thanks!

to hold it down i used contact cement...use a paint brush and put it on the back of whatever material you are using, and the surface you are going to apply it to...let dry for a few minutes and slowy put material on...that stuff dries quick and holds really good

so what materials do you guys know of that people have used? again, anything other than vinyl? i was kinda wondering how a cloth would hold up to the cement being on the back of it... does it soak through? fade? feel hard to the touch?

Hehehe... you're talking about me?

Sorry I didn't have time to work on the write up yet.. alot of homeworks and projects from college. Anyway, i will be working on the write-up next week (maybe). Soon to come.

here's the product.

Too bad the vinyl i got doesn't really match the color of my rear seats!!!!!

Oh yeah.. before you criticize me on the front seats and carpet don't match the red color. I know it.. I don't like it either.. but I have limited time and money.. Will do things slowly little by little.

peace.

You can use any type of material but once again use a spray adhesive
