Redline on 94 JDM H22 & Injector size?

What is the redline on a 94 JDM H22 motor and it injector size?
I got my H23 swap out to a JDM H22 complete swap in 2 months ago and the person who did the swap did not use the h22 injectors, Would that cause the car to starv on fuel at a certain rpm?
Also, i swap in the cluster from the stock h23 to h22, i hit fuel cut at 7200rpm/74ish i cant remember, is this normal?

Please enlighted me.

I think fuel cutoff should be around 7800 rpm. About the fuel injectors, the H23 injectors are smaller than the h22 injectors due to the VTEC. Not sure about the JDM engines, but i pulled these specs off of HT. Hope it helps.

1992-96 Prelude non-vtec Peak and hold 240cc
1992-96 Prelude VTEC Peak and hold 345cc
1997-up Prelude VTEC Saturated 280cc

sorry to hijack... but can someone explain the different between peak and hold and saturdated injectors conceptually?

Quotes from BlueShadow over at HT
Quote:
Two of the differences between P&H and Saturated injectors is in their speed and the amount of heat they generate.

The P&H injectors have faster response times (they open/close faster), making them more ideal for high HP. The downside is these types of injectors run a a tad bit hotter then Saturated type injectors, and over time this will cause the P&H injectors to fail earlier then Saturated injectors.

Saturated injectors have slower response time, but they dont run as hot as P&H injectors. And because of their slow response times you wont see them for large sizes (IE 1000cc). P&H injectors on the other hand are easily available in 1000+ cc sizes.

oh yah, dont forget the differences in wiring. If your car (or ECU if your car is swapped) normally uses saturated injectors then you'll want to run resistors or a resistor box so that you dont fry your ECU/EMS injector drivers.
Quote:
The reason for the resistors/resistor box is because you need to limit in the amount of current or amps or whatever that is needed to run the two types of injectors. The P&H still generate more heat and have the faster response times then the Saturated. These mechanical differences wont change when you add resistors, the resistors take care of the electrical differences between the injectors.

Injectors are either Peak and Hold aka. Low Impedance (2.5-3 OHM) or they are Saturated injectors which are High Impedance (12-15 OHM). I'm not an electronics expert, but a long time ago somebody on RX7club.com explained it to me like this:

If you run P&H/low impedance injectors in an ECU/EMS designed for high impedance you'll burn out the injectors drivers in the ECU/EMS. To avoid this you need to wire in resistors or a resistor box. OHMs is a measure of resistance, so by adding resistors you raise the OHM rating of the P&H injectors from 2.5-3 OHMs to 12-15 OHMs. By raising the OHM rating you limit the amount current that is in the system.

Now if you are running Saturated/high impedance injectors with an EMS/ECU designed for low impedance injectors you will be fine without wiring in any resistors.

Hope this helped.

Doesn't 345 cc seem a little large for the 1993 vtec?

I've been told that they were 310cc?
