Never heard of him... thats pretty cool if he is running 11's. Thats scary fast. I would imagine his caer would be totally stripped inside and he must be running some sort of FI.

Fastest times I have heard of was in the 12's with full interior. I think you could dip into 11's with a gutted interior. That would be nice to watch. Track that MOFO down and find out for us. Take some pics if you can too

I'd like to see this 11 second lude and some of the timeslips. Seems a little hard to believe...

ftp://ftp.taner.net/vids/Ruch/Ruch-Montage.WMV

thats the link to the video, hmm Its around the middle, during the 2nd song

*edit: watch it starts at 4:45 and i think they stop around 4:55-56

never heard of it, if he's running then he must be doing it at Nh speedway, and i have heard no stories of a lude running those times.

Best I've heard in the NH/MA/RI area is a civic running an H22 with NOS, gutted pushing low 12's

Papadakis uses a H23/VTEC... I have seen it with my own eyes. H23 block, H22 head.

My 4th gen pushes close to 450 HP, but there is no way in hell I'd break 12's b/c of traction issues. I can see it possible if you have like titanium axles and 10 inchdrags on the front......but I dunno.

What kind of mods do you have to make 450hp?? That's an impressive number, Nice work!

I don't usually disclose my mods, so heres a little insight.... its a fully built engine, boosting at 18 lbs with 720 cc injectors. Its still being tuned so I don't have my dyno numbers yet, but 450 is a rough estimate, its expected to be more. I own a shop so parts have been cheap, and I've been getting a good deal on labor so it hasn't been as $$ as I thought it would be.

Hahaha I can't believe some of you are actually entertaining this...

Steph's H23/VTEC hits 8's because it's a full out race motor in a tube frame light ass car!

Exactly. A carbon fiber shell. He could probably run something similar with a b-series motor.

Not hating, just stating facts.

i live in madison wi and there is a h23 lude that runs in the mid 11s. Fully built jg edelbrock motor,100 shot of nitros and a intercooled greddy turbo(22 lbs of boost). He has been saving /working on it for 3 years. Its daily driven eventhough it has a rough ass idle and is bearly streetable. He did all the work himself
