Recommendation on Engine for turbo

Just recently joined and received a 93 prelude with h23a1 engine, was thinking of swapping for a h22 engine but not sure if I should keep the h23 and replace everything on it and throw a turbo on it rather than buying a h22 and swapping then turboing trying to figure out what kind of engine I can throw in this car that will hold boost, attempting to make 350-400hp.

Not gonna happen.

And if you somehow do manage to make that much power, how are you gonna make use of it in a fwd car?

Keep the H23. H22 has frm sleeves, not good for boosting with substantial psi. rods are a weak point on the h23, so if you want to make that much power, build the bottom end at least. Also get ARP headstuds so you don't lift the head. You'll probably need supporting mods in the head to make that power, like cams/gears valves, etc.

Thats a big claim. Not going to make that much power? at all? ever? thats crazy talk. I made 347/313 on my F22a1 with a turbonetics t3/t4, tuning on emanage ultimate.

Did it blow up on the dyno or when you were spinning at the line?
