Rebuild or Swap?

Hey guys I got an h22a1 pushing 200,000+ I'm considering rebuilding, and was wondering what some of you would do in this case. I know its my decision but I just want to see what some of the more experienced people would do. The people that have actually made the move to rebuild an old engine or just go with the swap! Any help is appreciated! As of right now the car is good no leaks and pulls hard! Just has a lot of miles and I know that something could go wrong any time. Thanks alot guys!

Whats your budget and your plan?

If you have the money, I would buy another JDM H22A swap. Take out your old motor, start building that one if youre into performance and all that stuff. Keep your new engine for daily drive. Thats what I'll do.

Thanks for bringing this up Airlude1. I'm at 306k on my H22A1 and was wondering the same thing.

Well I know it will take some time! Not really worried about money I would like to make a solid 250+ whp lude! what are the disadvantages of rebuilding an old engine once it's out of the car? Would it be smarter to rebuild a newer h22a while it's off then drop it in?
