Rear wiper install

Hey guys,

re; this Thead , is the switch for the rear wiper located on the steering wheel paddle, or as a switch on the center console?

I'll be getting the entire rear window with wiper assembly and motor from japan so I hope I don't miss anything...

The thing is, we get a lot of 'misty' rain here, so it builds up but seldom slides off the glass, even after a proper applilcation of RainX or similar product. I do a lot of daily driving so I'd like to know what's going on behind me etc...

I'd love to have one here, especially in winter. We get wet slushy/sleety snow and when it is snowing and its a bit sticky, or when its snowing heavy it builds up on the back of the car fast and you dont drive fast enough to let the wind take it off the back window in those conditions.

It seems that only the US market didn't get the rear wiper, which seems strange as it's not like it doesn't rain or snow in the States!! The rear wiper isn't a JDM only option, it was available to Europe/UK and all other places I believe.
I agree that the car looks cleaner and smoother without it, but I do like having it to help clear the rear window in wet/snowy conditions.

wish I had the rear wiper. In the mornings, the dew builds up on the rear window, it takes forever for the defroster to burn it off.

Ryan, that's exactly what I mean. It may look out of place, but it has a useful purpose.

here is the way I see it. My buddy and I put time and money into REMOVING his rear wiper from his GSR teg. He never used it anyway, and it looks about 10 times better with it gone. mind you we live in Washington. Aqua treads are our version of a race slick.
