Rear window shattered today...

Early this morning coming home from work I heard this loud pop, locked around didnt notice anything i was to tired to worry than, i got into my car this afternoon notice my rear window is all shattered.....argh stoopid prelude curse!!!

So Now what does it take to remove the window i gotta a parts car, thanks fo rthat. what wiring and connectors are there...can i use fishing line to remove.

there are probabally wires for your 3rd break light (if you have it) and your rear defroster...i would imagine the defroster would be more difficult to reconnect although I haven't had to do it before.

im thinking thats what happened was the cold to heat......

so has anyone replaced one before.

Could the defroster being left on have caused it to crack?

Doesn't the defroster shut off after so long, though? I've never used the one in my Prelude, but in my Civic, it shuts off after like 10 minutes.

If the timer fails to shut it off, it can crack the window.

I also found a few instances online about glass that is tempered wrong just shattering for no reason.
