Rear Weather Strip

anyone know where i could get the rear weather strip/ molding on my trunk. the picture posted shows what exactly i need. mines all rusty . plz lemme know thanks!

i sanded mine, taped around it and took some spraypaint. 5 years later....i need to do it again

then again, that isn't expensive at all....

^lol i think you've said that before and thats what i've done.

the rubber around the rear glass is flaking away too. i spray that too!

haha . on that page.. does any one know what number 4 is? im not sure if it's number 2 or 4.. i just got back from my local honda dealer and they guy said its $96 [obviously not buying it from honda]

You do not want part #2. That is the rubber gasket for the window itself. You want #4 the molding. The picture is confusing.

just pull it off, sand it, and spray paint it. I did that, it looks much better, and costs you about 5 bucks for a can of flat black paint.

so i guess this is a common problem. lol. at first i wasnt even sure if i could replace it. but then i saw the screws and clips underneath. yeah i'll just sand and paint it =]

Besides black paint, you can also get black rubber bumper paint from any auto supply shop.
