Rear spoiler install

Ok,
I just won a spoiler on ebay for less than 100 bucks. It has the LED light and I am wondering what I need to do to install it. Will the Brake light work? Will I need to plug it into the existing third brake light in the window or is there another way to do it? It is painted black and it isn't going to match my Fresco blue paint so I am going to have it painted. Is there a price range I should look for? I am in my college town and I don't know anyone around here so it is going to be a stretch to get someone who know's what they are doing. Thanks for all the advice. I searched the posts but had no luck!

Andy

a shop will charge you about $75 -100 to paint it. or if you got a tech school in your area with a autobody classes you coud bring it there. Buy the paint straight from honda so it matches and the school will charge you like $20 to paint it.

Also prepping it or wet sanding it yourself is a good idea.

Instalation is easy, the only pain in the ass is drilling the wholes so the bolts line up.

Depending on what year and make your car is you should have a wire/connector power source for the LED already connected.

If you email me I'll send a pic with instructions from my factory manual so you have a referance

Here goes the pics you asked for..ignore the gauge stuff

anyway in the drawing your LED power source is the dark dashed line with the arrow pointing to it. look for it behind the plate..hope this helps.

By the way I showed you my wing so you could see what the spoiler looked like when placed further back then the stock location...right to the edge of the trunk..
I also used clear silicon sealent to prevent rusting and leakage..on the bolts/holes just in case,
