how do u remove these?

i would like to paint mine cuz they look all icky

I'm pretty sure they are glued on. When I had my car repainted I asked the body shop about removing that molding and they said it wasn't held in with clips like the other pieces of molding.

If this is true then you should just buy new pieces of molding because you are probably going to ruin the old moldings taking them off.

Maybe someone with a Helms can give you a definite answer. I'll look in my Helms tonight and if no one can give you a definite, I'll post tomorrow.

Mine have some kinda mildewy stuff forming around the edges also. . .maybe a little dentaured alcohol could take car of it?
