Rear Headliner from VTEC - Honda Prelude Forum

Hey guys,

I was running on the freeway today and I saw another 4th gen with a spoiler and the high mount brake light and I think it looks tacky as H***! I was told that the VTEC's didn't have the high mount brake light like the Si's and others since they came standard with a spoiler so I figure I can just pull the rear headliner off a VTEC and bye-bye brake light. I want to try and find one in a junkyard but if that fails I might pick it up from H-parts.com. my question is they have two different part numbers for the headliner but the illustartion for the VTEC one looks like it has a place for the light. If I order #7 off this page will I get the right liner?

That looks like the one for the 3 brake light assembly. You can call them and ask for sure.

so what your sayin is that my lude is tackie

i got both the spoiler LED and the high mount, i might be messin with the high mount to get it to display words when i brake

I just think the it would look much cleaner in the back with out it.

If I call them would they be able to tell me that? I thought they were just a dealer.

I think the JDM high mount light has the Honda symbol, too.
