Rear bumper replacement

I got rear-ended a while back and am looking into buying a new bumper. I know I need a new cover because of cracks, but I was wondering if I would need to buy the reinforcement too.

To give an idea of how bad the accident was, the bumper isn't absolutely destroyed it just has some cracks and sags just a bit. It doesn't line up perfectly with the rear quarter panel, probably about 1/2 inch off. Thanks for any help!

Take the damaged bumper cover off and see if your rear bumper support is bent or damamged. If not then all you need to do get a new cover. The sagging could be from broken clips and screws or the support is bent.
