READ THIS (Rediculous!!): MSD 6a vs. MSD SCI
I am in the market for a new ignition system and have decided MSD over Jacobs. But I have an important question before I buy. What is the difference between the SCI igntion and the series 6 igntion? You say the SCI is for imports but when I looked at the specs of both they are exactly the same! So waht is the SCI doing better since it costs more?
-=duSTin=-
Dear Sir,
Unfortunately the SCI and the MSD 6A are no different in performance. The only difference is the color and the name and the instructions. We came out with the SCI for the import market, the cost difference would be the cost in the paint and the marketing for the import division.
Thanks,
MSD Tech
Is this illegal?

I would pay the extra money for the SCI, the silver paint looks better than the red. But thats just me,...
