from the best motoring video i can see only 2 bends (after the fuel tank) and the bends seem to be under 20 deg.

if i recall correctly the stock prelude has 3 bends. and one of them i think is like over 30 deg. what do you think?

ahh i understand...

but if flow is what you are going for, than just having a custom exhaust made, as straight as possible, that will be your best flowing solution.

my exhaust probably "flows" better than the JUN.

The whole angeled exhaust is pretty pointless on preludes because of the extra bends it adds. On cars like the supra, were the exhaust is fairly straight, having it angeled is actually better for the turbo spooling.

For us it's more or less for the look.

since im running nitrous i figured that a straight as possible ex. piping would benefit my setup.

i think it looks cool. f%ck it ill try it any ways.

does anybody have a better pics of the jun style ex. on different preludes? thanks.

I don't see how that straightens out the piping any more, unless they ran the pipes under the fuel tank, which it doesn't appear that they did, which would make it really easy to bang on any kind of bumps.

ds2000, the exhaust in that pic is totally different. But that header looks like familiar. Not that there is a very good view of it but from what i can see it looks similar to mine.

The reason some cars have that bend is because they do not have clearence and they have an awfull bend in the piping. The angled muffler helps to get rid of the bend.

Actually my exhaust has a Magnaflow dual tip muffler, it was a tight fit, if i angled it i would have had more room and would be able to straghten the piping a little. But a dual tip exhaust would look like shiz like that.

The difference between JUNs custom exhasut setup and normal 2.5inch custom piping kits, is the JUN one is literally totally straight from the ehader collector back. Like little to no bends what so ever. It ignores the areas which the stock exhasut bends at. See that **** would not be good for the street cause from im thijnking the piping would hang real low and casue you nothing but headaches. Perfect for a race car though.

not to be a d!ck, but that makes absolutely no sense. the angled muffler originated from the cars where in order to fit a muffler, the mfg. had to bend the pipe 90 deg. lay the muffler parelellell(sp.?) to the bumper then another 90 deg. out the back
