rare warning light on 93 jdm prelude

Hello everybody, the another day i was driving to my home when this strange warning light comes up on my dash, so
i have searched for this light on the internet but i didint find the meaning of that thing..
so.. i need your help!
what the heck does the light mean?

by the way, the car runs a feels great, i didnt find any difference in his performance.

Possibly exaust temp. there's a light on the freightliner truck I drive that looks kinda like that (sorta).

ok ok, but if your are right, how can i solve this problem?, i have the stock headers, and pipe line. 3 months ago i have installed a muffler and thats the last mod that i have done to my car.

my guess is its catalitic converter heat light. the old datsun Z cars had one and if it got to hot the light would come on. how old is the cat? it may be clogged and is heating up far too high.

That's the indicator light for the hot plate under the passenger seat.





but forealz I'm guessing cat/something exhaust related.

Take off the cat and see if it's clogged. That's a really cool feature because usually you don't know the cat is bad until u have unknown performance issues. Good luck man

that's the exhaust temperature warning light, it comes on when the temp of the cat converter is abnormally high.

there's a sensor on the cat, could be a bad sensor, wiring, clogged cat, etc...

That's the "running on fumes" light. lol. Put fuel in it ever?

Jokes aside, I agree, it looks like an Exhaust Gas Temp warning light.

now since it's all sorted out the next question is....

Can we install this sensor in our ludes? and use one of the empty slots in our cluster for the warning light?


Something tells me that this can be on one of those weird JDM mods that I gotta have list.

Its to tell you the cat is clogged they have them in Japan cuz they don't smog their cars, thats just what i heard. anyhoo.
