Yup. Ran 14.923 @ 92.39 MPH this weekend in my 96 VTEC. Bone Stock except for an AEM CAI, that's it! Hehe I was also running the cheapest winter tires in the world.
I'm no Prelude expert but I think that's a pretty damn good time for stock OBDII eh? We were at the track with 30+ 5th gen ludes and I had the fastest time out of everybody...and I was up against ludes with PILES of bolt on mods.
I ran consistently 15.0 -15.1 all day and finally pulled out the 14s at the end of the day after 20+ runs! Anyone else have similar results?
20+ runs at a track im luckey if i get 6 in and thats pushing it for my car, and it always seems my times get slower and slower as i run because my engine is so hot.

Dude I know what you're saying...but it was about O degrees (32 F) all day and we had a little snow blowing around sometimes so the cars did not heat up too much. And if you don't believe me I can scan the 19 slips I have in front of me...it's not a problem

Hey Brady we had a guy in a 4ws with a JDM H22a swap (CrazyKid on this board) with some mods run 14.924...that's huge given the weight disadvantage of 4ws!
Just to give you an idea of the 60 ft times, here's two good ones:
I don't know why the printer time is off, but you get the idea the runs span about 4 hours. It was actually April 6th from 11:30am till 3:45pm..ah well.
First run of the day vs. 5th gen
Last run of the day vs. Mustang V8
As for launch technique I tried so many things...but finally launching between 4-5k seemed to work well...
Basically since this was my first time out I learned a couple things..in that you have to manage your clutch and accelerator well to launch well (hehe duh!)...after a few runs I was working with the clutch and accelerator between 5-6k post launch to get traction. Some of my friends did 2-3k launches but didn't get below 15.4 doing that.
wow, your car really pulls, my best time was a 15.4 with a 2.4 60 ft time, i can't remember but it was around then. Of course mine is a SI... I was launching around 3k.......i had i/h/e.....

That's really good I saw a stock SR run low 16's so you're doing well.
Most people said there was nothing special about my 60ft times...and I'm just pulling like a mofo..which is good
Congrats on your 14!!! I remember when I ran mine. Where are those good 60' times you spoke of?j/k 2.3's and ran 14.9...Nice...Work on your launch though...Probably had to do with those Winter tires!
Not bad at all......if you can get those 60' down, you could probably pull a mid 14. Neoekai, you would probably run a low 15, high 14 with a 2.1 60'. I run 2.3's consistently (more than 20 runs) and its basically due to my stiff suspension....its definetly not cause of the 225's. I will eventually run with DR's or slicks one of these days.

awesome runs, your 60 foots aer ok, they don't suck, but they're not great either. I think you could knock a tenth or two off your 1/4 with a better launch.
