Radio Problems

Hi all, i have just bought a totally standard 4th gen vtec. it had a standard radio in. i swapped this for my cd player with a wiring harness and it worked fine for about 3 mins then all of a sudden went off. i duno what i done wrong but it wont switch on ive checked all the wires are in properly, iv checked the radio fuse, and i cant see of anything else that doesnt work except maybe my cig lighter, bnut my interior lights DO work. but stragely, my cd player still ejects, and when you take the front off it theres a lil red l.e.d light that flashes and that still works.
can anyone help as im baffled and am singing to myself everywhere i go (which is a terrible thing). cheers

if it's aftermarket, there's no telling. it sounds like a radio problem since it still ejects and stuff. have you unplugged it and plugged it back in? try hitting the front to see if something is loose

sorry, forgot to say, iv tried the original radio back in and that doesnt work now either. so its somewhere between the wiring and the fuses.

When you say radio fuse, are you talking about the car's radio fuse?

Try checking to see if the radio itself has a fuse on/in it (my old radio did, and it was accessible from the back of the radio). See if that's blown out, if your radio has one at least.
