radiator fitment

i am searching to buy a new radiator for my 1994 prelude si-vtec 4ws. Does anyone know if all 4th gen preludes regardless the engine type can use the same radiator in respect to fitment. Because during my search i have noticed that manufacturers says that in example a 92-96 si prelude radiator wont fit to a 92-96 si-vtec 4ws prelude. Is this true? Also can anyone suggest any radiator brands for my prelude

thank you

The radiator that was in my Si was different than the one I put in after I swapped to a H22a, the one I bought was for a Si VTEC. I'd say to be safe just buy the one listed for your model, unsure of the differences.

Milkypros,

All S-model Preludes for the 4th generation model run used Toyo radiators (OEM p/n 19010-PT0-004), whereas all Si models used Denso radiators (OEM p/n 19010-P14-505). I would play it safe and stick with the Denso radiators but the Toyo unit would probably fit as well.

Hope this clarifies things

Thanks for clarifying things. But am interesting in buying an aftermarket 3 row radiator such as:

Honda Prelude Aluminium High Flow Race Radiator ---Japspeed Performance Parts

if you notice it says that it will fit Honda Prelude 92-96 4Cyl 2.2 Litre, but some other manufacturers separate the fitment application by 92-96 Si, Si ntec 4ws, s model, manual or automatic e.t.c. The main issue i think is if the two top nipples of the radiator would match the clamps attached to the car.

i am not certain, however i believe the mounting locations are different between the SI and VTEC. Maybe a search for the product number on the fan shroud would clarify this?

good luck.
