I finally got my swap in and cranked it up for the FIRST TIME! Sounds freaking awesome dumping right out the header.
Anyways, I let it run for a few minutes and re-checked all fluids. Oil was fine, just had to add 1/4 bottle. Coolant was good too, topped off. No leaks that I know of?
Well, when I turned it off and took the key out, the darn radiator is still running. I thought it was a fluke and let it run....for about 10 minutes! I was beginning to think that something was wrong? So I just disconnected the battery and checked over all of my wiring. Everything seems fine? Even all the fuses are okay, as well as the relays.

...that's a good point. I'll start it up and watch it tonight.
I still have a check light, so I'll have to diagnose it too. Hopefully it's nothing serious because I want to take it out on the streets!!! *Think I'll get pulled over for noise pollution?*
I FIXED IT! I actually plugged in the wrong connector for the temp sensor. The H23a wire harness has an extra connector, which I switched with the correct temp sensor connector into the H22a4. So now it runs perfect, and best of all, NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!
Now if I can only get the exhaust welded so I don't scare everyone off the road.
My radiator fan turns on after a long run or a hot day, maybe to extra cool off the car, it can run from anywhere between 2 minutes to 10 minutes long.
I kinda think its cool that it does that and no my engine isn't overheating...
Only think its annoying, it'll set off my alarm

Thanks for the info. I have had the same problem with my JDM H22A since I got the swap done. I will try that and see if it fixes my problem.
Also what is the color of the correct wire and which connector do I use?
What car do you have now? And what wiring harness are you using? The reason is because my H23a wiring had an extra connector.
If you look at your wiring harness under your distributor, by the thermostat, there's two connectors that are the same, except one is green, and the other is gray. The wires leading into the CORRECT connector (the gray one) are green/white and yellow/blue. That's the ECT sensor, Engine Coolant Temp. I plugged in the wrong one, which had a green connector. I just left the green one unconnected. And since I didn't have a check engine light, it seems fine to me.

sometimes your fan turns on after you have been driving itll turn off. You should check to see if it turns off within 15-20 minutes. Any longer than you gots a problem
my radiator comes on and stays on for abut ten min if I turn the key past accessory. i dont even have to turn the car on. i just turn the key back and the radiator comes on. and this is ever since i did my jdm h22a swap into my 92 si. i would like to know how to get rid of it but then again my motor always stays pretty cool.

maybe its something with the jdm h22a swaps, seems like we're the ones with the same problem... (if you call it a problem)
maybe its embedded into the jdm ecu or sensors?
