racing chip

I was wondering what does a racing chip does to a 4 gen prelude with a v tech, cause my friend has a 97 jetta with a VR6 and he has a chip done to his car and he says it adds like 25 horse to his car, what would it do to a SRV.

i dont really hear much about chips on honda/acuras.. on european cars like VW's, Audi's and BMW's.. you hear about chips much more. they are great upgrades for those cars. it could just be that the aftermarket for chips for hondas is next to nothing, but i think that its rather that honda engines are tuned pretty well from the factory. a chip is a common upgrade on those cars.. as a header would be for ours.

To answer your question, not much, if anything at all.
Spend your money on a V-AFC and tune it yourself.
