im not talking about the linkage setting im talking about the top of the shifter where the threads are. im not talking technical shorter shfts im talking about a shorter "shifter" not "shifts"

hes talking about whre the knob sits. hes saying the stick is too long. he wants the knob to be lower to the console. hes not talking about the shorts shifts at all and not talking about the cable and how it should go higher. just the he wants the knob to sit a little lower to the console. i dont see why you cant do that tho. just cut about 1/4 inch off the top, and i think that would work.
