After doin some searching around the forum - it seems like NRG is the choice to go with for the quick release hub/steering wheels...they seem kinda up there on the price compared to otha ones ive seen...is it really worth the price difference...ive seen a good amount on ebay for around the $70 shipped range...?...
also, is this as good as a security measure as i think it is or have thieves found a good way around this too??
1. NRG is good, there are other hubs out there as well. I for one wouldn't budget anything on the car that has to do with direct driving.
2. Thieves can always get to your car no matter what, this might be a bigger deterrant from actually stealing the car, but then again if it's worth it to them, they will get it.

u know anywhere i can get the NRG or comparable brands (like Nardi) at a good price?
and ya...and i guess they could always tow it too :-/
a good combination could be the ngr short hub and a 2.5 quick release... that will stay about the same height as the oem... and you can use the nrg quick lock...
I ask to nrg about the quick lock and they tell me that was only compatible with nrg quick release and cant be put to the thin quick release...
I got a boss hub, quick release and the sterring wheel for $90

nice for $90, where coz im planning on getting one of 'em QR steering instead of chaining my steering wheel(literally) every night just to feel safe.
i have the nrg hub adapter-nrg quick release-nrg wheel setup and its great. if you have the money for the hub lock they make you should be good. At the end of the school year my friends civic was stolen and he had a quick release. when they recovered the shell they saw teeth marks on the hub adapter. the guy who stole the car used vice grips as a steering wheel.lol
cool, but any online store/shop that sells like combos because i really hate buying separate plus ordering the wrong stuff is more likely since im a noob at these techy, specs related stuff.
