quick question, did the 93 Ludes have the H22 VTEC?

Hi everybody,

I was wondering if the 93 Preludes came with the H22A1 VTEC? or was it just the S and Si in 93?

also what is the redline on the 4G VTEC, Si and S?

EDIT: and the only reason I ask is cause www.cars.com only had the S and Si listed for 93, which doesn't seem right to me.

Also do the VTEC's come in Auto?

TIA

There is no 4ws S models. . .only SI's. Yess, they did come in an auto.

In 93 the trim lines were:

S Auto f22
S 5spd f22

Si Auto h23
Si 5spd h23

Si/4WS Auto h23
Si/4WS 5spd h23

Si/VTEC 5spd h22

In 94 they changed the model name to just VTEC instead of Si/VTEC. 94 was also the last year of the Si/4WS.

After looking at my sales brochure from 93, the car came in an S or Si model with the 4WS or VTEC as an options package.

Depending on which options package you ordered, you got different things. With the VTEC options, you got the h22, 7 speaker sound system, optional cd player or in dash cellular phone, leather, better tires etc etc..

You could get a 4WS VTEC in Japan too. That's what I wanted.
