Quick question about my 92 prelude
My prelude has a tendency of dying after the day i let it sit (dont drive it around for a day or half a day). Even if i drive 2 days consecutively it seems to take time to start, in a sense that I twist the key and the car makes the start up sound for an excessively long time.
When my car does die my solution would be to jump the car and the car seems to run fine.
Because it was annoying that I had to jump it many times I took it to my mechanic. He says something about my car fan never turning off? Or to take his words word for word he claims the fan is always on so maybe the battery charge can not keep up with it.
He says I have no battery leak. And because of my trust towards him I assume that he would check if it was an alternator problem or not.
He says he tried the most basic way to try and fix my fan but it didn't work and if he actually tried to fix it, it would be a complicated fix. Although he was a nice guy and did not charge me for that labor I was still wondering if there was any similar problems like this amongst other preludes owners that maybe I can bring up to him?
Thanks in advance
