Hey guys! Just have a quick question. My 92 SI is silver. I have not seen another silver one around. All the ones I see are red, black, or white. I've only seen one other silver, and it was a 2001 model at a dealership. So, my question is this. Is silver a rare color for this model, or just an unpopular one? Everywhere I go, people stare at the car, like they've never seen a silver car before. Just something I've been wondering about. Thanks.
when i first got mine i didn't see another black one for months. all i saw were white and red, i was so happy. now i'm living in a different city and they are all black!!! theres one red one and two other black ones. pissed me right off. oh well, i've never lived in a city that has more than 4 preludes total(4th gen). at least i'm not driving a mustang...
My Lude is currently silver, I like the color silver, there are a few Preludes around that are silver but mostly red/black, whites sorta rare around here, speaking of 4th gens. But I am getting it painted Viper/Royal Blue with. its gonna look nice with a silver pearl :-)

this girl or lady across the street from me has a silver 4th gen, I want to recruit her to my team, but i think shes a lil older prolly late 20's.... her prelude is stock tho....
I have a Silver 4th Generation. There are 2 more around where i live... and other than that i hardly see many at all... I like being different... people stare.
I never see them here where I live. Come to think of it, I can only identify one silver one. I see black ALL THE TIME. There are alot of the azure green ones here, also. There are some Milano Red ones, there'd be one more if I could ever get mine running. Guess I'll have to settle for the white CRX.
I have a silver prelude too and I love it! Silver isn't available for the VTEC version, so there's less of the silver 4gs around...but I love the silver color, and ppl always tell me they like my car....
SiR, I never said that silver was a special option color for my car. All I said was that I don't see very many silver 4g's around here. I wondered if it was a rare color. That's all. You need to go back and re-read my post to clarify what was said.
