Quick H23 valve adjustment question....

Intake 0.003-0.004 inches
Exhaust 0.006-0.007 inches

I did a valve adjustment on my car about 2 weeks ago and it's still ticking just as loud as before....if not louder. Are these specs correct? Any tips as to what to check? Or is there no hope for the tick in my H23?

Edited| I mixed up the numbers before but they're correct now.

That sounds about right. Did you do the valve adjustment when the engine was stone cold? Also, some valves are naturally noisey.

^^yeah sorry....didn't realize.

I don't think I did but I made the same mistake while doing the adjustment I would be able to notice it right? The would pretty much run like crap wouldn't? It runs perfect it just has a tick...thats all.
