Quick exhaust question

I'm a 5th gen guy shopping for an exhaust for my girlfriend's car (93 s model), and have a question. I've already searched and didn't find anything.

But most exhausts I see state a model for VTEC and another for NON-VTEC models. Does that mean that S and Si's use the same exhaust?

Thanks in advance!

If you happen to find an exhaust that is only made for the VTEC, it can be made to fit an S/Si quite easily, the holes in the flange that bolt to the cat just need to be enlarged slightly.

and in some cases they won't need to be modified at all. My exmag fit onto my cat without any modification necessary, there were slots instaed of holes in the cat-back b-pipe flange, so it mated perfectly to the cat.

yep, my exmag (which 4thgenready2go copied me with) fit my prelude si perfect and it says on the rsr website that its for vtec. so go ahead and buy any exhaust you want for the s, si or vtec.

{ahem ... bull$hit .. ahem} check my post in HAN, I believe I was contemplating buying an Exmag long before you were, flake!

AHhhh... shopping for the right cat-back exhaust...

I believe in Sept. '03, I had decided on it, so BLEH!

Back to topic, it also might depend, like on when the exmag was manufactured, maybe some came with slots, and some come with holes (necessitating the widening of the cat flange holes) So basically, to answer your question, with very MINOR work, if any, yes, any VTEC cat-back will fit your S/Si.
