since my swap, i've been cursed with the notorious hesitation problem........
i've tried alot of things, but what solved it for me was replacing the fuel injectors.....
the first time i replaced them, i bought cheap knockoffs off ebay(bad idea)and it ran fine for a couple months but came back...........
so then i bought stock OEM h22 injectors.....
it solved the hesitation for a while but now its back again....
i'm thinking that something is causing the injectors to get clogged......?
is it possible that theres crap in my fuel tank??
someone also told me that there is a filter on the fuel pump.....could that be clogged??
i've replaced the fuel filter and i know people with the hesitation that have aftermarket fuel rails so i dont think thats it........
i'm pretty desperate to find an answer now, because i've put so much money into this car and its gotten me no where........
thanks,
jonathan

What is this "hesitation" problem? I am doing an JDM H22 swap and I am wondering if it's going to happen to me. But I already have the USDM H22, so will it happen to me?
Its very possible that there is stuff that has settled to the bottom of the tank. Do you run the car low with gas at all???
I run mine low and the tank I'm assuming is stock and its a 92'
and I havent had the problem too bad. some times when I first start it will but I run it hard for sec and its all good. If I were you I would send the injectors to RC engineering for analysis
They should be able to let you know flow patterns and see what was clogging. Do we have plastic tanks.
I had a ford ranger that had this problem really bad! Do you get bad gas milage? Pull the spark plugs and see it there is Black residue all over them? could be that your injectors and driping fuel instead of spraying.
theres no CEL right now............
my spark plugs do have some black residue on them but looked pretty normal.........
i havnt checked my gas milage in a while so i'll try to next time i get gas.......
i know my fuel pressure is good(i have a gauge)
the wierd part to me is that it only happens between 2500-4000 rpms..........
i do run it low with gas sometimes so it could be picking stuff up from the bottom of the tank.....???
i just cant think of any other possible way that the injectors are getting clogged besides from stuff in the fuel tank......
is there a filter on our fuel pumps???
L-U-R-C-H: theres a HUGE hesitation thread in this forum...it explains the problem and all the things people have tried to solve it....a search for hesitation should bring the thread up....
thanks

i havnt tried those, but i was getting a CEL a while back for the o2 sensor, but i heard other people had tried replacing it with the same problem and it didnt work.......
i might try and see if i can find one and see if it works.....
