question for Apexi WS owners. . .

I'm about to buy an Apexi WS exhaust system to compliment my H22 swap. Every place I look online lists only ONE model for the prelude fitment of this exhaust (they say it fits "all" not "s, Si, VTEC" etc. How can this be, since the H23 and H22 exhausts bolt up differently? Will I need custom modifications (welding on flanges, for examlpe) to get this exhaust to fit my 92 S with an H22 engine? Thanks in advance

It's made to connect to the h22 cat but it can be made to fit a h23 cat very easily.

What's the topend feel like with the Apexi WS? I was thinking of getting one for the sound, but doesn't it kill topend which is where the H22 shines.

I dunno where you heard that. Im sure it performs just as well as any other aftermarket exhaust. My top end is very strong. either way exhaust have minimal gains so why not buy one that doesnt wake up the whole block while your cruisin around.

From the dyno i've seen in a mag. there is some gain in mid-range and top-end is about the same as stock.
