question for any moderator

would adding cams to an automatic h23 non-vtec do anything...my friend told me that it wouldnt really do much...what are the pros and cons of putting aftermarket cams on the auto h23? thanks...

Are you more concerned of the "auto" or the "H23"?

I've heard that Honda auto's are crap.

I think if you get a cam that has a more aggresive profile, it will help you out a lot.

I'm sure it will give noticeable gains, but with an auto, you might have troubles.

why would i have problems with an auto?....i mean understandable that the tranny is weak but i already have a solution to that....levelten.com has everything that will make the auto tranny be able to withstand some abuse...i mean, most of the drag supras are running on auto tranny...just look at craig paisley's car....so i'm just wondering if its worth getting cams and if the gains are gonna be pretty noticeable and what problems am i gonna have with upgraded cams...thanks....
