Question for any 4th gen front turn signal wiring expert

....Wide Mout Lude posting...
Ok heres what my dumbass did. After thinking about how I could get my turn signals to stay on in the front (like the integra) but still have the ocillating blinker, I decided that i could swap the bulbs. Well when i found that the bulbs were different, i figured i could cut the wires and splice the wires from the side turn signal into the harness for the front signal and splice the front signal wires into the harness for the side signal. Well this didnt work. Why? I have no flipping clue. So i tried probably every combination a million times....and at one point it worked, but i was only holding the connection together with my fingers so when i let go to get my sodering stuff i forgot what went where and after that i never got it to work the way i intended to again. So i eventually quit and put it back to normal way. But, now the side signal only comes one when the turn signal is activated. It no longer lights up with the parking lights OR the headlights. Can someone tell me what the hell happened and how to fix it?

a bad connection. with the wires. if you put them back to stock it should work. try your connections.

pearl, we discussed this on IM but for every one else.....they are back to stock connections (i know because the wires are color coded). And i know they are good because they both blink, the problem is that the side blinker doesnt go on with the parking lights or the head lights like the other one does (that i didnt tamper with)

I would try setting up the circuit that the 5Gs use. Relay trick, do a search for a post with Ovadalimit.
