Question after Header install

I just got a Greddy header installed, completing the I/H/E to my car.. Is it normal to have the VTEC crossover sound QUIETER after the install of a header!?

I see your point, most people always comment on how more noticable it is. Strange, but I can't help I'm afraid.

It was somewhat quieter after I installed my GReddy as well. I don't know what could have caused that. I'm guessing because the exhaust is flowing with less turbulence, the engine breaths better causing the engine to not "strain" as much. That's my thought but overall, I love the header.

No rust either after a year.

Definitely check the factory spec before you retorque them, but if memory serves correctly, I think the instructions said 23 ft/lb. I can't really remember, it was over a year ago, but the number 23 jumps to mind.

Just give the shop you had them installed at a call and ask if they remember what GReddy recommended.
