Question about trouble's with CAI.

When I got my prelude it already had an AEM CAI. My question is what kind of risk do I run of hydrolocking my motor driving this car daily? It just seems to me that it wouldn't be hard to take water in..whether it has the bypass valve or not. I almost thought about getting one of the outerwear covers for the filter just incase. What worries me is the fenderwell doesn't completely line up with the bumper. It is def. not water tight. I am tempted to just get a short ram but I hate to lose power...(which i'm sure will be minimal), but moreso I hate to waste money.

Thanks.

I ran the AEM CAI for years in CA rain and never had an issue. Avoided big puddles, and thats about all.
