I'm lowering my car with skunk 2's and I'm planning on usually having just about an inch and a half drop. Is that enough to need a camber kit? And also, I have stock struts and shocks, how long will I be ok without upgrading? my car has 100,000 miles on it.
Thanks
Jonathan
I have a 1.5" drop on my GC's and I didnt put a camber kit in. I had it aligned after installing the GC's and have experienced no abnormal tire wear. You should be fine. But with anymore than a 1.5" drop, a camber kit is recommended.

I've got that same setup, Skunk 2's with stock struts and my ride is bouncy and I'm pretty sure my struts are shot. I'm in the market for new struts now, probably KYB AGX or tokico illuminas. My lude is a daily driver and right now the ride quality sucks. I'm at stock height, I want to lower it but my suspension bounces too hard and I would scrape like a mother. Can somone recomend struts?

Not really. My friend's 96 VTEC is lowered on Progress springs, w/ about a 1.75" drop, and he's been on stock struts over 2 years after he put the springs on... and his car is rollin' strong. If you SLAM your car on stock struts, then you might have problems...
