Question about SRS reset. - Honda Prelude Forum

Hey, well not long ago I got in a small accident with a curb and it was just enough to set my airbags off, I have finally got 2 new airbags, but I'm not sure about how to go about resetting the SRS, I know HOW to do it, but was wondering, do I have to plug the airbags back in before resetting it?, or do I have to do it before plugging them back in, I ask this as obviously I don't want them to deploy, and if I tried to reset it without the airbags being plugged in, it would just throw a code and the light would stay on anyway, so I would appreciate some help, mainly from people who have done this and KNOW what will happen.

I'd check the service manual.

I checked my Helms, it tells me how to change airbags, but it doesn't tell me anything about if the srs unit has been set off and the airbags have been deployed.
