Question about removing VAFC

To my understanding, to remove the VAFCII I have to remove one splice and a harness. Maybe a few other things. I should be able to handle that.

But my question is, will the car just return to stock fuel maps etc. and still run okay?

I hate my dash looking like Go-Go gadget when I turn on my car.

Thanks!
