question about painting vent things

I want to paint the vent things near the headlights on my 4th gen. How should I paint them? Could I use spray paint or would that look bad?

I used spray paint. If I did it again, which I will. I would rough them up a bit with sandpaper, and just use a light mist of paint. Pst-Pst-Pst, not Pssssssstttttttt. Take your time with them and use a few coats. If you spray too close the paint will run and you'll have drip marks. Use a coat hanger or string to hold them up. I did mine white, and they look pretty good. When I take them off I'm going to cut the middle vent out and put mesh behind it. I think black this time.

Check it out!!!

I wouldn't spray paint them. I would either leave em of get them painted to match your car with car paint.
