Question about leather seats

Did the 4th gens come with 2 different styles of leather seats? I remember seeing some in a 4th gen that differed from someone elses. Maybe I was just seeing things...

don't think they have different styles but there are 2 different color seats. i've seen tan and black leather seats. didn't think those tan ones look to well with the rest of the black interior though

Yes there are two different styles. Leather was an option in the 93 VTEC's. It was not perforated like the leather seats that came stock in the 94-96 VTEC's.

perforated leather is widely used because it allows the seats the breath and cool the passengers down in hoter weather. If you look at all the high end cars they normally have the perforated leather. One car that comes to mind is the Lexus IS300.

Personally I like my perforated leather.

I hate all those lil holes... I would rather suffer the heat, than have the holes, IMO I think it ruins the whole idea... I am just picky I guess.

I am with ya on that one.
My @ss still sweats during the summer with the perforated seats. When I get mine restitched, i am going to go witht the non-perforated leather. The perforated is ugly to me, and it tears to easily. Plus my boy said if you leave the windows down and it rains, it takes like a week to to get all the water out of em.

Thank you. And believe me, honey, you'd be lovin' that perforated leather if you were here in Florida. It takes so much less time to cool down.

Here ya go. Sorry the picture's not better, I took it at like 6:00.

Oh, and, excuse the backseats in my, uh- back seat. That's what that huge yellow thing is. Since she's not running, she's doubled as storage.

Thank you! I like it way better than the non perforated seats. As for a picture of me sitting in them, maybe later. I feel sad when I sit in her because she has no heart anymore! (Engine's sitting in the patio.) I love leather most of the time, too. It's just the whole leather + Florida = Hell thing.
