Question about fuel pressures on JDM swap

Hey guys,

As most of you know I just finished my H23 -> H22 swap and I have a question. I used the FPR off my H23 as the H22's fuel return outlet was smaller than the return line. I know that the H23's run at a higher fuel pressure than the H22's so would that mean that it is running rich? I am thinking about trying to replace the return line with a smaller one and run the H22 FPR. Any advise?

Well despite the lack of responses I decided to try this. I went out and got some smaller diameter fuel line and installed the JDM FPR. I test drove it and it feels better. When I had the H23 FPR on there is would hesitate between 2000 and 4000 rpm but it seems to be better now.

Might be something to try to fix the hesistation problem if you have it.

I am talking about the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail. You know how you need to use the fuel rail off your USDM motor as the JDM has the fuel line in the wrong place? Well in swapping over that you end up swapping over the FPR in the process. I tried putting the JDM FPR on but the fuel return line was too big for the outlet on the the JDM one. Today I went out and got some smaller diameter fuel line to replace the first part of the fuel return line and bolted on the JDM FPR.

The reason I did this is the H23 motor runs at a higher fuel pressure than the H22 so I figured I might be running a little rich.

As I said I think it made some difference but I might be imagining things. I am just trying to keep the motor as JDM as possible.
