Question about diameter of my AEM?

I have the oldschool AEM CAI with the oldest filter made. The filter is all banged up and im almost certain that the older model AEM's are 2.5 in diam. instead of 2.75. anyways i might be getting a new one, but is it worth it?

If it's already a CAI than I wouldn't waste money to buy a new one. It should be good enough.

get the new AEM CAI (like V2 or somethin like that) where it is really big piping, and then a tapered piece of hose at the end that clamps to you throttle body. It looks pretty bad a$$.
