Question about DC headers...

Will a stock downpipe work with a DC ceramic header? I'm being offered the header without the downpipe/flexpipe. Thanks.

the DC header isn't worth 10 cents in one piece, so I wouldn't be a fan of only 1/2 of it.

lol. Thanks for the opinion, but would it work? So what's better than DC headers that don't cost a grand?

Greddy would be nice, but us H23 and F22 are stuck with DC as the top header

No it will not work, its too bad you h23 dont have a greddy, if your trying to put a DC on your H22 your wasting your money, and the Greddy is only 350 or so brand new..peace

if you dont care about power then keep the DC, otherwise sell it and get the greddy, not too mention the greddy is 10x prettier, and oh yeah makes alot more power...peace

i'm not doubting that greddy makes alot more power then the dc header...but can you explain how and why it does make so much more...

i knew the greddy was better then dc for sure, but i didn't know it was complete crap compared to it...

i always thought dc provided decent gains...maybe i'm wrong...haven't really been following the progress of header manufacturing for our ludes or anything...but if someone can explain why greddy's header is so much better, i would appriciate it!

It just is. Buy whatever header you want, I've seen the DC gain 2-3 whp on the dyno....WOW

it's for my own personal knowledge....don't worry, if i'm gonna get a header it's gonna be greddy!

Do you guys have actual dynos on preludes to prove that greddy headers put out more power? or are you guys just saying the qualitly or something is better??
cause i already got an offer on my dc sports headers and want to make sure i'm not wasting my time and money.......and if we're talking about 1whp then thats not worth the money.....

So umm, does anyone know the answer to my first question? Someone told me that it wouldn't work. How hard would it be to "make it fit"?

it might fit, when i put my dc header in my car the downpipe from it looked almost identical to my old h23 downpipe.
