Question about AEM Cold Air Intake...

For any of you that have installed the AEM Cold Air Intake in your 4th generations....

Where mine goes down into the fender well, (the metal part that I had to make bigger cuz the intake was rubbing on the side and was gettin scratched) is the rubber part of the filter supposed to come up and "touch" that metal where I cut? Cuz that is the way mine is. Can some of you guys tell me what yours looks like?

The rubber part also sticks up through a little bit on mine. I'd say it's normal.

Wierd... Are you sure you have a cold air intake? Anyways, i used wire loom wrap stuff around the hole to protect the bling bling.
