QUESSTION....By putting turbo on a 4th gen. prelude that has vtec.......

sup, my friend is thinking of getting a 4th gen 92-96 model that has v-tec, and he is planning to get turbo for it, before he buys it he wants to know if it would **** the v-tec up cause the turbo, or would it be better to put turbo on a non v-tec prelude...so is it better to put turbo on a non-v-tec or v-tec? thanks

if he is gonna go turbo anyways, why not just get a 92-96 Si which is cheaper than a vtec model...thats just me...and put the rest of the money in rebuilding the engine...who really cares about vtec if you're boosting...dont you think...

....a properly tuned TUrbo H22 yields more horsepower than an H23

i agree but its better to start off with h23 and save the extra thousand of dollars on what you are gonna put for a vtec model and you could use that money for rebuild for the h23...plus the guy doesnt look like he knows what he is gonna be doing anyways...so make it easier for him to start off with a h23..

here is an example of what you can do to a h23

that should help you decide...
