Q: H22 Pistons in H23 Block

Just wanted to ask if anyone else had read or had any experience about the stock h22 pistons being put into a h23 block...

1. I have read that it would increase compression close to 11.1:1. Any confirmation.

2. What would be necesarry to do this? Pistons, rings, will the stock rods work.

3. Does anyone know if the piston-to-valve clearance is ok?

4. I would probably have to get some way to increase the fuel so I am not detinating all the time too right? Any suggestions.

Thanks in advance...

its not going to bump the CR up that much, it would be more like 10.5 or 10.6:1

to do this you will need the pistons, rings, pins, and possibly a thicker head gasket (as the H22 pistons are a little taller than the h23 pistons, creating valve clearance issues)

as far as increasing the fuel, all you might want to get are some 290cc injectors, and a safc.

Hmmm...

Well I was getting my numbers from the Absolute Prelude web site.
10.6 is still a decent increase in CR from 9.8.

Do you think that the AP website is miscalculating or just guessing at the numbers:
Here is a link: Absolute Prelude H23 with H22 Pistons

thats just a statement, there is no evidence backing it up. the stroke of the H23 rods will not increase the CR that much.
